Privacy
Aaroh is run by the owner of Aaroh, Bengaluru, India. This page explains what we collect when you use the site or buy from us, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The free JD match check
It runs entirely in your browser. The resume and job description you paste are not sent to us or to anyone else, and are gone when you close the page.
What we collect when you buy
- Your name, email, phone number and the payment reference you send us.
- Your resume and what you tell us about your work, education, skills and the jobs you want.
- For Job Sprint, also: job preferences, notice period, salary expectations, and the status updates you send back.
We never ask for passwords to any job site or email account, government ID numbers, or bank details.
Why
Only to deliver what you bought: your resume, or your Job Sprint (finding jobs that match you, preparing a resume for each from your own facts, and tracking your applications). We don’t sell your data, share it for marketing, or contact employers on your behalf.
Who else handles it
- AI processing. Resume text and job descriptions are sent to an AI provider (Anthropic’s Claude API) to draft resumes. Under its commercial terms it processes this data to provide the service and does not use it to train its models. Its servers may be outside India.
- Payments. Your UPI app and bank process your payment. We see only what any UPI payee sees: your name, the amount and the reference number.
- Forms and messages. If you use our form, it is hosted by Google Forms; if you message us on WhatsApp or email, those services carry the message.
- Visitor counts. If enabled, we count visits with GoatCounter, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data.
How long we keep it
Until 30 days after your order or plan ends, then we delete it, unless you ask us in writing to keep it. Payment records (name, amount, date, reference) are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent (we then stop the service), or have it deleted. Write to the contact details on this site; we reply within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
